Hambledon Bard S20 Barrel Co2 Cylinder (REFILL)

Co2 cylinders are an optional item. Depending on how long the beer is in the barrel determines whether you will need to use one. Initially, you prime the barrel with granulated sugar, glucose or malt extract. This gives the necessary secondary fermentation. Possible half way down the barrel a vacuum occurs (no beer comes out of the tap), it is at this stage a Co2 cylinder is used to ensure the beer stays fresh right down to the last pint.
